YES. in fact i suggested him as a target on a previous page in this thread. was far and away the best fullback in the 20s over the 08, 09 seasons at which times the likes of dugan and gardner were also coming through the grades. has played mainly wing in firsts with the warriors and has produced mixed results. he is out of favor and appears to be behind fiishiahi and hohia for fullback and inu, vatuvei and co for wing so would be a smart value pick up. if smith can get him back to his best he will prove an excellent acquisition and potential replacement for mini down the track. has stacks and stacks of pace, is very elusive and also has good ball skills and is an excellent goal kicker. the other main thing i like about his game as a fullback is he plays like a slater/miniciello type fullback in that he is constantly around the ball sniffing around the ruck and the forwards for an offload or an inside ball, chip over the top etc. the thing i dont like about the 'new breed' of fullbacks like hayne and dugan is that they dont do as much support playing and sniffing around the ruck as the fullbacks of yester year and others like slater and mini.

if we can pick up tomane as well i think our backline for next year will be in business. he is another player that is currently out of favor at the coast and appears to be being forced out with idris and champion on their way up north. he can play fullback, wing or centre and has plenty of natural ability - speed, height, strength. he could be the answer to getting leilua off the wing.
