For me its not about the alcohol... It sbaout the principle we gave him a shot, we took a gamble, and he has shat on our faces with his disobedience and ill discipline, I will not care in the slightest if he is sacked.

The view that he shouldn't be sacked? I've been consistent in my views that he shouldn't be sacked if he was drinking, because he is an alcoholic and alcoholics do go into relapse. It's a pretty black and white view by the fans, the club and the NRL to say that he should be sacked even if he has gone against a promise, because it is not as easy as some would think to keep a promise if you are addicted to a drug. Discipline him for sure. Don't enable him. But don't sack him because he had a drink.
