I don't think Carney did anything to deserve a sacking. But he is a long way where he should be. He probably needs a couple of months off to get his head and injury right.

My only concern about the whole situation is how the team feels. You will see them come out and say they back him 100%. But are there factions in the team? What does Smithy truly feel?

If everyone is truly 100% behind Toddy then we will get over this. If not then we are in deep sh!t.

How do Brunton's friends within the club feel after he got booted yet serial pisshead Myles is still here and getting paid bucketloads ?

How do friends of Sa & Waqa feel after he was let go yet Cherrington kept despite committing a heinous act ?

I don't disagree with any of those decisions but if i was close to any of those young men in the club, i wouldn't exactly feel a close bond with the team.


How do the current players feel, now after all this drama that they have targets on their head if they want to go out for a rare night out due to the alcoholic ?

How do they feel when they bust their gut on the training paddock, get bashed on the field, maintain their diet yet see the party patrol on cruise control every weekend ?

Our group is far from being close-knit.
