the rumour mill is in overdrive with news that the Roosters are trying to get Kevin Locke from the Warriors immediately.

best guess is the club has got some salary cap room now that they are about to rip up Watts contract.

it seems Locke has fallen well down the pecking order at the Warriors.

Locke would be a perfect signing for us he provides speed/creativity which we lack greatly with Carney being out and Watts about to be given the arse.

He's a good young player with speed to burn. He's the one that scored the warriors winning try on the last tackle last year in the wet in nz when he raced through to dive on the ball on thd try line & at same time he collided with the goalposts. He beat Graham to the ball when Graham didn't dive to put his body on the line (no surprise there with Graham).
