i dont think he's all that great either tbh and don't think he'd make any great impact at our club.. the game is moving towards wingers who are big, strong and fast. Something like what Smith is trying to do with BJ (minus the speed)

Agree. He is probably still a bit underdone, but he would add some spark to our backline - which is what we will miss from Carney. Similar player to Carney in that he is a more dynamic player than an organiser. Would struggle in defence, but so does Carney.

It may also be a good thing for Pearce, because he would be forced into being the senior playmaking role which may be the thing he needs. The only game he has really dominated this year is round 1 when Carney was out and he was running the show.

Worth a shot.

I rate Kevin Locke as a fairly decent player. But I don't think our club needs to sign players that are a bit wild off the field.
As for a replacement for Mini, I dont want him to ever retire :P but if he has to I reckon Perrett or Naughton to play fullback.

Yeah, the Polynesian's are taking over the game. You see it a lot in schoolboy footy now, all the best teams (Keebra, palm beach etc) are almost all Polynesian teams.

they are to an extent, then it gets to first grade and many just don't cut it.
