Roosters vs Vermin match discussion

its going to be a good early season test for our boys to see where we are at, the vermin are riding a wave of confidence at the moment but they haven't faced anything like what we are going to throw at them today since they beat us in the prelim last year, seriously they have had a draw with the Dragons in the Charity Shield, beaten an average St Helen's team for the WCC and beat up on a horrible Broncos team so far this season.

in the overall scheme of things this match is worth nothing more than 2 points but it would be good to remind the vermin scum they aren't going to walk to another premiership this season.

we are no doubt going to be bent over by the match officials but hopefully we are good enough to overcome it.

anybody know what size crowd they are expecting today?

Tell me about it, Fletch. Was just in Best and Less Mascot buying my girls Roosters PJ's. Made a light-hearted joke to the woman across the isle shopping for Souths gear around how she was shopping in the wrong isle. She got a bit aggressive in her reaction, crapping on about us being the most I'll-disciplined team in the comp and how we were going to get smashed. "Just as well you don't get points for discipline", said I, not being arsed to enter a discussion with such a wretch.

It was a timely reminder of just how much I hate Souths. If there's any trouble in the stands today, I'm a chance of being in the mix - I can feel it.

Should be a ripper and I mentioned in another thread I think we will win well 13+.

Slight concern with the intermittent showers and possibly slippery track...could help them keep us closer with Reynolds kicking game. Quite windy too so kickers will need to play smart to take advantage.

I am very concerned about the penalty count for this afternoon'a game because I do not think that a 10 penalty to 3 penalty count against South Sydney will see our team compete the same way that they did against North Queensland

Souths supporters are just people following their team.
Some supporters get a little angry if they think you're taking potshots at them or their team...some have no sense of humour.
Best to just walk on by and say nothing, even if only jokingly.
