I haven't been in the mood to come on here because we lost a young family member in very public and tragic circumstances a little while ago. He was a young boxer in Toowoomba and was only 23 years old, a law student, and never drank or smoked. He had been defeated that night but had nothing but gracious comments to make about his opponent. One of his last tweets was how he hoped his beloved Broncos would beat the Vermin..
Glad to see this place has not changed much (I see the Rooster Oracle has not taken any of my new age meditation advice about being calm and serene!) and thanks to those who worked hard to move the site to the new server. It looks very glamorous and la de da...!

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I didn't know him myself but I know a couple of people who did and they had nothing but praise for him. There was a massive collection of flowers outside his gym.

No need to tilt the head ive gone digital I can just turn the phone around Enjoy parenthood those 1st few years are very special and go very fast. Then they start to grow up order you around and at times have you feeling like a glorified waiter or in your case waitress. All good fun though wait till she can talk and tells you she loves you. PS she is gorgeous

I'm was very sad to hear about this some weeks ago and the fact he was a relative of yours is quite heartbreaking big sis !

I'm really overwhelmed by the lovely messages from people I do not even know and I will make sure to inform all the relevant uncles and aunties. I take comfort in knowing that he will be looked after by Mum and Dad now (with a lot of nagging by Mum about following those evil Broncos I'm sure!). Lauren, your daughter is a delight and it seems only yesterday we were sending you 21st birthday wishes! It's the circle of life..Andy is right..there is nothing more fun than having children in the family to keep us laughing in tough times..for example yesterday I received some amazing Easter 'artwork' in the mail from my younger niece and nephew..better than any Lindt chocolate bunny! Stay safe over the long weekend everybody and be nice.

We have our differences of opinions on almost everything evidenced by some flame wars here on this forum. But reading this thread and the R u Ok thread makes me proud I am now a part of this community!
