And Benji Marshall completely lost his step at around the age of 28. I don't see why it hasn't/won't continue to happen to Carney who would be 29 1/2 when he would return for 2016.

Yes you're right they were 22,23 & 24 if you want to be pedantic. The point doesn't lose any relevance though, players don't just lose ability at such young ages.
