Carney is and always has been a centre. Problem is so are Graham and Linnett. Mini could emulate Luke Burt if he gets his head around it but something needs to change.

You are probably right R6 but if anyone thinks he had a bad game then they aren't watching the game closely. He gets limited opportunities because our attack is rubbish at the moment. His defense is pretty good and he made plenty of metres today (16 runs for 149m). He dropped one bomb in wet conditions. Nightingale did not beat him in the air as some think. The one kick to Nightingale was too deep and Carney was shoulder charged by Soward.

I prefer Carney over Graham. Graham offers nothing. He doesn't have the strength to compete. I would give Carney a go in the centres. At least it looks possible that he may break a tackle. He is too easy to target with high kicks on the wing.

As I said, "if he cuts out the silly mistakes he'll be better than Perrett". Perrett offers nothing more than dummy half runs which Carney has matched the last couple weeks. Carney also made some crunching tackles which Perrett is incapable of making, and has more speed than Perrett.
