You may suggest I'm drawing the long bow now Danish, but in cheering because of a player in distress you may breached the code of conduct. If you are a member or go to games regularly, I suggest that you become familiar with the Rooster members Code of Conduct which was circulated to members last week. For your benefit I have copy and pasted the following passage from the aforementioned document.

My son- in-law would have breached it on numerous occasions, but has now been banned lol!

'Not abuse or use bad language towards fellow supporters, away supporters, players or officials.
Understand that anti-social behaviour causing offense by words, actions or intoxication will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the venue and possible cancellation of your Membership.
The Sydney Roosters have a zero tolerance policy towards racism and discrimination. Sanctions including cancellation of Membership, stadium eviction and fines will be imposed for Members and fans that racially vilify players, officials, staff and/or other spectators.'

If that was actually enforced the stadiums would be empty. Also I guess the vilification and putrid abuse dished out by half the clowns on this site to other players, think SKD and Kennedy to name a few is totally fair game!

Perhaps I should get recordings of all the idiots that sit around me in Bay 13 bad mouthing players, swearing at referees and what have you?

My refusal to cheer for fergurson scoring points and happiness that he will no longer be playing in our colours are a hell of a long way down the list for any sort of offensive behaviour that goes on at games. For a start I'd wager no one around my even knew what I was smiling about.

I'd suggest the ones willing to overlook behaviour that would normally see them want a player punted if he played for any other club in the comp simply because he is now wearing roosters colours are the near sighted ones

You really, really can hold a grudge.

League players are misbehaving all the time. And most of them get away with it (see Role Model GI). The issue I have always had with Inglis is the lack of penance. The way the NRL airbrushed his reputation and hold him up as a poster boy when he never did the time for his crime.

At least Ferguson has well and truly done his time for the crime; which, if you get off your high horse, was only minor.

He made a mistake. He's been punished. And he's clearly a changed man imo. And so he is receiving the second chance he deserves.

I'm no Saint. Who is? So I won't begrudge Fergo a second chance in our colours.

And when he helps us win a Premiership this year I can't wait to cheer him on and share in the happiness.

                Not true.

She has one black eye and one white eye. Everything is black or white. No gray.

Everything is crystal clear and the moral high ground is always held.

As I said before, I wish everything was black and white for me. I would never have to use my brain.

And what exactly did he do to attract such narrow minded spite? Rape a child? Murder a single mum? Defraud a pensioner? No. He mistook a girl for someone he knew when he was drunk and grabbed her on the box. All I can say is I am glad they got rid of the death penalty.

Totally unacceptable. Outrageous behaviour. Where are the morals these days?

I mean, at a football match no less

Lock them up and throw away the key.

You are such a strong person to be able to survive that.

                  You go girl.

I'm not the one who brought up not liking a player as being grounds for having my membership revoked

I find it sick that someone gets pleasure out of someone else's misfortune. I can only think you have some mental imbalance that allows you to feel joy at such a thing. Not to mention you are also celebrating something that dissapoints his team mates and those that run the club. Simply you don't deserve to support our team imo.

Sure Fergo did the wrong thing and he served his punishment but what do you suggest happen to him now? Lock him up for life, the death sentence perhaps? Thankfully those that run our club and most importantly the coach and his team mates feel he is deserving of a chance to redeem himself. I will side with them, not you.

And if he signed for Souths, you'd be shouting the hous down that he is a scumbag like Inglis and shouldn't have been allowed back in the game

What penance did ferguson do anyway btw? He never admitted he did something wrong, tried to weasel out of his conviction, then acted an absolute dickhead for a solid year with Mundine and treated his then contractual obligations like toilet paper.

Since then he basically signed for us and.... Well trained hard I guess?

If Ferguson had signed for Souffs instead of us, I imagine miraculously most people on this forum would share my opinion of him.
Do you also cheer for Souths players when they play?

                              Of course not.

He should have been strapped into the electric chair.

... or more logically just not have the privilege of playing professional rugby league in the NRL anymore. As any man found guilty of any form of assault should forfeit.

Pretty straight forward. Don't know why you are a few others are so confused and angry by my opinion. Does it hurt you that I don't like Blake? Or are you still just carrying a big chip on your flabby shoulder that I called you out for getting so many things wrong despite attempting to present yourself as in the know around these parts?
