I'd say our club, which is the most professionally run in the NRL is working hard at increasing our membership base and gate receipts.

I hope you're right mate, but personally I think our membership/marketing dept is sadly lacking.

If the supporters or members we already have won't go to games (interstate guys excepted) we need to start prospecting for some new ones. That should start with marketing trying to attract kids.

If you don't think there's anything wrong with them, I can only assume you've never had reason to call them to sort out tickets/memberships/members packs/travel arrangements. Lets just say if there was a marketing ladder, I'd be certain they wouldn't make the top 8.

I reckon they need to show some porn on those massive screens during the game. A couple of lesos in Roosters jerseys going for it in ultra high definition. That will bring back the crowds.

Most times i'll go into the Leagues club if i need to sort something out and iv'e never had a problem.

We have less than 15K members.

I have read that 1/3 of our member base resides outside of Sydney.

I cant recall the last home Faiders game when we drew more than 10K. That can go for most out of Sydney sides, including Womanly and Penwiff.

Aren't NRL crowds dwindling in general? I blame how soft the game is gotten.

As for me personally, I can't attend as many games this year as I have a baby now. That makes attending some games quite difficult when you can't leave the house with just your wallet and phone as I used to.
