I hope robbo really considers this kid to play outside skd on Sunday. His really beefed up and I think would be up there for our quickest long distance runner. I'm a fan of nene but he can be quite lazy throughout games imo.. But trust in robbo

I thought he looked very unimpressive last year in the couple of first grades he got. Hopefully he has improved.

Yeah from memory didn't he make a couple of really poor defensive reads? I can remember there were a lot of unhappy supporters on here after the game. A year is a long time though and Robbo would not put him there if he were not capable.

Actually I think it was the Cronulla game last year that he made his debut in. I also wasn't that impressed with what I saw last year ...but havent seen him play this year so .... as above - "In Robo I trust"

he played once and scored on debut.. He did look pretty average I agree but in the nines he showed some good pace and strength.

With Nene being 18th man once or twice this year, surely he must have the jump on Elliott.
Nene has also played at FB so can cover that posi if RTS goes down. But hopefully that won't happen after he dropped 3 bombs verses Cronulla from FB last year.

If we are to move SKD back to the centres I sincerely hope we put a winger on the wing Elliot was caught out a few times last year due to the fact he was caught too far in field due to him being a centre and not a winger

Nene played a few games for us. His debut was against the Dogs and I thought he played fairly well. Particularly in attack. I remember he hit the line harder than Toups and made a few tackle breaks. Didn't he have the record for tackle breaks in NYC. From memory he had a very ordinary game against the Sharks after Mini got injured. Didn't he have to play fullback and had a few shockers under the high ball? It may have been RTS but I think it may have been Nene. His defence was not the greatest last year and I haven't seen him play this year but I think he is a better option on the wing than Elliot. Nothing against Elliot BTW.

Brendan Elliot's first and only match for our club was against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in season 2014 and I thought he did rather well considering the circumstances. This website is a very tough marker on players and I can not understand why so many people have written him off just yet. It was Nene "Ronald" MacDonald who had a poor game after moving to the fullback role and young Elliot scored a nice try. He would not let the team down.

TIT. I personally would like to see Latrell Mitchell run out on the weekend... But not 18 until the 16th of June. I think Nene will get the run, expect him to look for work this time round. He will have a blinder and wont pass up the opportunity to impress. He will score 1 try.

In the 9s he looked slow for a winger and couldn't draw and pass.

                        I hope has improved since.

I thought he played reasonably well on debut but just suffered from a lack of size. He was very eager and happy to help out the forwards doing the tough stuff. He will surely benefit from the bit of bulk he has added since then.
