My prediction is SKD goes and RTS/Maloney stay.

It means that we have to put up with a Willie Manu from time to time.

I think releasing a few - not RTS - leaving us open for recruitment in line with changes to the interchange rule could be quite smart.

We also need to re-sign SST.

He's been very impressive this season.

Don't get it, how do the first and second lines correlate ?

Manu is a 35 year old. be lucky to play any more games this year let a lone next year. Plus we have players coming through the 20s. I think SKD will stay and possibly maloney will leave. SKD has been around for ages and is a sole part of this team like mini. Like mini he can put in the occasional shocker but it would be sad to see him play for another team.

Sea vermin are desperate for halves after dce and foran are gone. They will go for maloney with big money. RTS will stay if we give him the money maloney is on plus whatever he is currently on.
          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

He's essentially saying you can't have a roster complete with stars. You need bit players to make up the numbers some times.

Maloney is much more important to the team than SKD, I'd love for him to stay too but the salary cap doesn't allow it.

Roger made 300m for us yesterday. Is that a record?

As for keepers, Willis Meehan looks like he's one and should be being blooded now. Watching him against and admittedly pathetic Cronulla U20s team, he looks very big, very fit and very, very skilful.

When you have a starting roster as strong as ours , which has our cap just about full, (and that's with Ferguson on very average money this season), the quality of your depth can suffer.
Hence we need the Willie Manu's coz that's all we can afford.

Now I have no idea what will happen with Roger

If we can't hold him it will be absolutely shattering because it's obvious he will be in the top players in the game.

It will be like when Freeman left.

we should start spreading rumours that RTS is heading back to union so we can get Dave Smith to chip in some funds to keep him in rugby league.

Our young supporters eye's light up when he has the ball. You can hear them say "go Roger go Roger" as they slide to edge of their seat.

He definitely has the ability to thrill.

What do you mean by your first line? Were you more confident in recent times that he'd stay then you are now?

Throw the chequebook at him. Do whatever has to be done to keep him; if it means losing every other player that is off-contract this season then so be it.

I agree, we don't get many players that could potentially be in the inglis, thurston, sbw, folau, hayne category that we haven't bought from another club, it would be great to have roger be that player who came through the grades.

It looks as easy as offloading all or a combination of skd, toops, maloney, ferguson, but it will just depend on roger himself, and whether he does not want to live in sydney.
