Gobsmacked. I hate blaming the refs, but seriously, they are having an absolute blinder winning this one for newcastle. Roosters have looked a little scrappy but I cannot fathom why they're being penalised for basically touching a player, and newcastle have hung on in tackles that were way beyond completed and nothing happens.

Roosters haven't looked overly impressive with what little possession they've had, but this is beyond a joke.

        65% possesion to the Knights.

So we have not had the ball, we cannot do anything with only 35% possesion.

We have been defending all first half.

and we have a 6-2 penalty count against us !

We are the Kiwi chick and the refs are the sharks, yeah i know crude, but thats how it looks !

          Stats from the first half

          Tackles
          Friend 26

          Mase 16

          Missed tackles
          Myles 3
          Friend/Waqa 2

There is no point in posting attacking stats, there have been basically none !

Roosters completions 9/11 compared to Knights 21/23

Not doing too badly hanging onto the ball - when and if they actually get it. I've never seen so many ridiculous penalties. Mason penalised for playing the ball after being tackled, Braith penalised for touching a bloke who was barely tackled at all (as long as Mason had been when he played the ball!), Myles penalised and sin-binned for the same thing. Can't work it out.

the knights have been given penalties in opportune positions as well, just to add to it

And now Fitzy could be hurt after that sterling effort to offload the ball to Tansey for his try. Anasta converts - 6 - 22

It amazes me just how perfectly disciplined the knoughts have been in this game.
Just like all of the teams the Roosters play.

It seems the refs are determined to penalise the Roosters out of this game.

and we get penalised AGAIN !

apparently an accidental offside !!! Made by the Control ref who is in the defensive line !!! why is there no call from the touchy !

Possible knights try, to the vref

and another try, off the back of a penalty against the roosters.

WHy kick off, why not just give them the ball on half way, make the job easy for them !
