Round 10: Sydney Roosters Vs Newcastle Knights

I heard on foxsports today that the Roosters have not won the penalty count for 2 YEARS. That HAS ti say something about our discipline.

The flop penalties were ridiculous.

2. Sam Perrett - What a gem..Shining light on a dark night..
3. Ben Jones - What is he doing in first grade
3. Setaimata Sa - To say I am disappointed is such an understatement
5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall - This guy is not a centres asshole..He is a winger FFS
6. Braith Anasta - Very ordinary night
7. Mitchell Pearce - Ditto..
8. Nate Myles - One of our best again..
9. Jake Friend - He can not be our only future hooking option - Newtown
10. Frank Paul Nuuasuala - If he doesn't start, he doesn't seem to give a shit
11. Iosia Soliola - Very unfortunate
12. Craig Fitzgibbon - I really hope to see him in the RW&B again..
13. Willie Mason - I thought he had a solid game...no complaints from me..

14. Lopini Paea - What has happened to him..
15. Mark O'meley - Hard to judge when he only plays 5 minutes..
17. Nick Kouparitsis - One of our best...Will we ruin him also..He is good
18. Sisa Waqa - Not first-grade standard..

Coach Fittler - I have so much admiration for this guy, but I am not sure if there is room in the NRL for a coach that is void of ideas and has no respect from his players..What a shame..

The biggest cancers of the team so far have been

fittler --no ideas and no respect from players
sa---- hes a head case who is proving a major disappointment
waqa----he needs time to develop hes not a first grader


our left side defence is terrible..


and as for fitzgibon the guy is god....
how many times did he take the ball up instead of a prop in the newcastle game....
hes a legend and were eltting him go...and the moron fitler took hes captaincy away and gave to anasta..

u were a great player fitler..but sadly not all greta players make good coaches

I have to agree with Fitler giving the captain role to Anasta, because i strongly agree that a half or a hooker has to have to captain role, i have thought this for years now.

Our team needs rebuilding big time, its not gonna take 1 year. So if the roosters officials sign Fittler on for 1 more year they are making a huge mistake. They need to sign him on for a mimmum of 2 years. All the officials and coaches need to get together and write down there own team lists, who they want to keep and who should go, and go from there, sign a few new players this year, preferably a centre, a hooker utility and second rower work horse.
Sa's contract needs to be torn up, im sure a Britsh club would like him!

We then need to just get through next year, try and build off that and then move onto 2011 with another couple new players and make our mark there. That can be our year for a premiership campaign.
Im sick of teams trying to rush it, Roosters need to look at the Titans, there being run by a coach that we trained. It took them 3 years to build there club, and look at them now, they are premiership contendors.

Also after watching the games this year IMO Myles is going to sign to a different club, he looks bored with us in every game. He still plays brilliant footy but he isnt having fun with it.

We need a couple of players with spark, a hooker that can change a game, kinda like craig wing, a centre that can make something from nothing, kinda like gasnier(didnt rate him highly but he showed touches of brilliance when he was on his own and had space).

I thought he could have got more involved when he was on the field given that he should have been fresh from the few minutes he played. He's new here and I really believed he'd just tackle everything that came his way and take as many hit-ups as possible and support the ball carrier. It seems to me he's picked up SetaimataSa-itis - a disease that makes one lazy and happy after being smashed by another side.

Hey, I like that site, and yes, you're right, his stats are pretty good all things considered. Maybe I just need to get used to seeing his head.
