    Idiot.

    We should sack him imminently.

I hope the 26 year old isn't connected to us.

what really annoys me is that we have funded his boxing ambition by letting him have his fights when he should be at pre-season training, we also paid him when he was fighting to try and qualify for the commonwealth games and this is how he repays the club.

if the club is shown the CCTV footage and it shows him headbutting/assaulting someone without provocation they should rip his contract on the spot, however with Uncle Nick's penchant for trying to rehabilitate troubled souls, I can see another Jake Friend situation where his contract is torn up and de-registered by the NRL and eventually finds his way back to the club.

        farken douche bag

Just when we needed him the most he's let himself, his family & his club down

His old man should give him a royal upper cut

And here we were worried about whether he would choose boxing over league. His choice now is going to be top or bottom bunk.

Just to temper things a bit...when you hear of something totally out of character like this happening...there could be a behind the scenes story not just face value.

I know nothing... But just saying until the facts come out.

I supported Jake back then because I knew he had humility plus a big tikka.

I have mentioned in other posts recently that Meehan was soft, a pussy

As it turns out he is a big bully & a pussy.with no tikka.

I don't rate him to have the guts & do the hard yards

Even Boxing Australia could have an issue with this, not a good look for them either

Anyone heard any news re Meehan off field incident over the weekend?

I wrote this last Sunday in the match discussion as I was told of the incident by a police mate.
He initially told me of a more serious offence than a head butt, glad that ain't true..
                          Could be a lot worse

Out of character for who? league player? boxer? an 19 yr old? The signs don't look good.

Out of character in the sense that (you would have to think) hasn't done this before.

Playing devils advocate but what if this guy had stolen the watch from his mate and they tracked him down?

                              Still unjustified but slightly mitigated.

As likely a scenario as an unprovoked robbery and assault....until proven?

                                Fair enough.

All I have heard about him for ages is that his attitude stinks and he is a first class ratbag.
