lol apparently Meehan didn't even tell the club he had been arrested, he got out of jail 2.5 hours before the NYC kickoff and went out without sleep and played a stormer.

I'm sure the club would not be thrilled that Meehan didn't fess up about his arrest straight away.

      That's hilarious.

I demand he be reinstated after hearing that on NRL 360

If only Freddy was still our coach, that kind of back up effort would be rewarded with a First Grade spot.

            He should be the captain.

I don't know if the club will give him the flick.

The boy has way too much potential!

If he hets convicted, they might have to take the Feguson route until the NRL is ready to register him.

Having said that innocent until guilty

I'm out, that origin footage from years ago still haunts my dreams. Probably Dave Taylors too.

I will do the planning only.

Apparently he's got a watch now, so you'd have to hope he'll be home a bit earlier in future........

All signs point to Meehan being one of those talents that never makes it in the NRL.

We're fast running out of back up props.

Bingo, this is one of those WTF situations. The guy's on what... $80k a year + endorsements and he's out stealing watches for... what reason exactly? Really disappointing given the guy's obvious talent and our current need for talent in our heavily injured forward pack. At least WIllie Manu performed alright!

Fortunately we're not coming up against Fifita, Lewis and Gallen any time again soon. IMO our forwards (usually our strength) are falling apart!

He'd be getting a decent pay from boxing too.

He'd be probably be one of the highest paid 19yr olds in the country and he's stealing a watch?

Sort of unrelated but when I read casino robbery I thought it was some kind of heist for a second there.

Shocking and very strange if true. Why he would do such a thing if unprovoked or even provoked really doesn't make sense. Our squad list of available uninjured players gets thinner.
                              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

This whole situation sounds bizarre. Until we hear all the facts, innocent till proven guilty. In saying that, very dumb being out at 2.30am on game day! I'd say Willis would be more shitting himself facing up to his old man, than the roosters hierarchy...
