I would prefer if it was for robbery and not assault.

Unfortunately i will think of him in the same way i do with bird, auva'a the rest of the beaters if he is charged with assault.

Meehan is definitely on a rung below Auva'a and not even close to Bird. They both assualted women and Birds was as heinous as it gets when he glassed his girlfriend.

I'm all for the club helping Meehan and getting his life back on track. What be did was terrible but I'd prefer he rehabilitates himself and becomes not only an integral part of our team, but an integral part in his community.

I don't put it on a level below just because it wasn't a women he hit, because he alledgedly hit a man doesn't mean the person knew how to take care of themselves, you are talking a professional athlete, let alone a boxer with a mate, against a person on his own, probably drunk at that time of the morning. I hate coward acts, and this seems like one, i hope it proves otherwise.

good post. Our club has no where to hide when it comes to this crap unlike the vermin who played all of last season with a player charged with assault.

I still think meehan can be a valuable asset to our club. I just hope he doesn't fade away like cherro did.

if willis is guilty and the club stand staunch and backs the kid, he will repay us as has done jake. we wernt there when this shit happened, we don't know the whole story. the guy the robbed could be anyone. a pimp, thief or just a dad. innocent until proven guilty

What Jake Friend did was nothing compared to what Meehan is accused of.

Heck, when you put hysteria to one side, Blake Ferguson's crime doesn't even compare to what Meehan has done.
