How long does this set us back? Invested 3-4 years directly into him being long term with us and that's down the tube.. What's our plan b now?

The sun will still come up tomorrow.

We can always get mini back for another fill in year.

              Devastated
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been confirmed as a Warrior, while Sam Tomkins will be granted an early release from his three year deal.
The Auckland NRL club will confirm Tuivasa-Sheck's signing later today on a long term contract.
The Roosters fullback will join the Warriors at the end of this year, signed until the end of the 2018 season.
Meanwhile Tomkins, who is currently sidelined by a knee inury, will see out the season at Mt Smart before returning to the northern hemisphere.
Tuivasa-Sheck reportedly fielded a $800,000 contract offer from the Warriors, which was double what the Roosters were willing to pay in their attempts to keep the Kiwi international and stay under the salary cap.
The signing comes as a boost to the Warriors, who were unsuccessful in their earlier attempts to recruit Kieran Foran, Jason Taumalolo and Trent Merrin.
The former Otahuhu College student has been in scintillating form for the Roosters this year. He scored a stunning individual try and became just the 13th player in the NRL to run for more than 300 metres in last Sunday's loss to the Sharks.
His departure comes as a big blow for the Roosters, who groomed Tuivasa-Sheck as the long-term solution at fullback following the retirement of Anthony Minichiello.

Get Tomkins for a couple of years and the Warriors can pay half his salary for next year.

They must think highly of Latrell to let Roger go.

As an interim until Latrell is ready Fergo is an option. Also watched SoH play fullback for Dragons NYC and he went fairly well.

But you would think they may fast track Latrell now.

Unless we sign Hayne or Folau then I won't be happy.

If we re-sign any 2 of SKD, Maloney and Tupou instead of RTS then it's a biiiiiig mistake.

Kiss this season goodbye I believe. Too much negative and off field stuff going on. Contract talk, injuries upon injuries, headbutts.

If only Mini had retired at the end of 2013. We would have sticthed up Roger well before Tomkins decided he wanted out.

It's the first time in the Uncle Nick era that we have lost someone we wanted to keep.

Stepping outside our club for a second, it's evidence of the salary cap working.....FUUUUUUUUK!!!!!!!

Now he's no longer a Rooster, I wish him nothing but calumny.

                          He's dead to me.

Really disappointed in Roger for this. Sure, it's a lot of money. But we've spent 4 years grooming him as our fullback... a bit of faith being repayed would be nice. Look at NZ's track record for ruining young fullbacks too... He might end up regretting this big time.

He'll have $2.4M to drown his regrets.

Can we play Lattrel Mitchel yet when does he turn 18 ? If he has then he should immediately be given the fullback role Roger Im afraid can languish in NSW Cup or not play at all I see no point in playing or developing Roger any further in the fullback role Time to bring the young kid in
