Have to laugh at all the people saying he fails to see the 'big picture'. He could break his leg tomorrow and not play another game of RL again. He took the safe option which will see his family and himself setup for life.

I LOL'd... I was terribly upset yesterday about this but then realised the Roosters aren't the Titans or Manly or Parra to just let one of our big name players go and sit and sook about it. We will make a splash in the transfer market I reckon. We might get hit with NZ stealing RTS, but we will hit back harder signing another big name player...

RTS was one killed our momentum...which lost us the game.

You may find it is the player or player manager that is opting for 2017 so they can see how much the cap may go up rather than lock themselves in for longer.
I'm pretty sure a similar pattern happened with the last TV deal.

All the power is with the player managers at the moment.

I am concerned that Roger Tuivasa Sheck will not put in the level of performances for our club in the same way that Kieron "Foz" Foran has not done so for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles after signing for the Parramatta Eels.

I am concerned that you didn't put his nickname in there. You must really be rattled.

It could go one of two ways - Sam Burgess or DCE/Foran.

Let's hope it's the former. At least we're still a very good side competing for the title, not a rabble with no forward pack like Manly.

Switch clubs and situations and I'm sure Foran/DCE would be going much better.

There's no reason to think it won't be the former.
