  • RTS is not gone yet but if he does go don't believe its about the money

obviously don't believe everything you read in the papers, if every rumour raised was true we would have Folau/Foran signed sealed and delivered for 2016.

it is important not to blame the club if RTS does end up going, we were battling from the beginning, this was always a lifestyle/family decision not a money one, does anyone seriously believe with our 3rd party network we wouldn't be able to rustle up enough cash to keep RTS.

and before anyone states RTS has his family living with him in Sydney, this is not about his immediate family its about his extended family and close friends, RTS loves Robbo and the club but he is a 21 y/o kiwi kid that just wants to get back to hanging out with his friends that he grew up with, its no coincidence any chance he gets he is back in N.Z to spend time with family and friends.

no doubt it will be a devastating blow if he does go but don't think the club did everything in its power to try and keep him.

He did state that it was a "business decision"

Perhaps he didn't want to talk about his family.Hard to know.

He also really looked up to SBW.I wonder how much influence he's had on him.

      It's all about money.

I'm dirty that Mini wasn't tapped at the end of 2013. If that happened we wouldn't be in this position.

The same newspaper that had the so called scoop on RTS "elevated testosterone levels" on the eve of the gf.i never trust a journo -, the SMH journo writes we beat souffs in the 2013 GF. I was at the 2013 and I could have sworn we beat Manly.

But surely the club would have enough third party agreements to come close to matching the Warrior's offer?

JT, with Maloney/SKD/Toups off contract and Meehan likely to have his contract torn up there is enough cap room to make a competitive offer to RTS if we want to go down that path.

I don't think they would match their offer even if we had the cap space. That's when teams get into trouble.

That's the only chance and I am sure they are doing all they can to find them.

yeah i always thought those extra one year contracts would come back to bite us on the backside

SBW would come quite cheap as there is no shortage of TPA's for someone with his profile.

We also have Dave Smiths "war chest".

What better time to crack it open than to bring SBW back into the NRL.

has anyone actually paid attention to how SBW is going in RU, his body is failing him he has already missed multiple games with various injuries this season, he wasn't that great in 2014 and isn't getting younger.

will always remember what he did for us in 2013 but no thanks for a return down the line.

hey TCB, his body is busted has missed quite a few super rugby games already this season, don't think by the time 2017 comes around he would be able to withstand a full season on NRL intensity.
