  • Latrell Mitchell must be locked up now

obviously with RTS now confirmed to be leaving there will be more room in the cap to extend Latrell but as of a couple of weeks ago he is yet to sign a contract extension.

could you imagine if we lost him as well as RTS.

Somehow I dont think that will happen Fletch Im sure we have let RTS go with Mitchell in mind

Indeed, he should play NYC until he turns 18 and then play for Wyong until seasons end.

Then an offseason with Mini and the coaching staff and it should give him the best chance to be successful.

I agree, no way we let him get away.

I'm devastated we will never see these two play together at the Roosters.

No way in letting him go? We thought the same with sheck. When we look like keeping two wingers (skd, toops) over a player with the potential of sheck, then i really dont know what the big wigs are thinking.

there was nothing the club could do, it wasn't a case of releasing Toups/SKD to keep RTS he simply wanted to return home.

Indeed, I doubt we chose SKD and Toops over Rog, we just couldn't compete with the Warriors offer.

We should put in bids for Hayne and Folau and get the Welshman to help if Mitchell doesn't look like reaching his potential.

So what you are saying is that RTS is signing for the Warriors for family reasons, but is lying and telling the media it was a business decision? Thus becoming the first player ever to officially say he is signing for money when its actually for personal reasons?

                What tripe

Why spend 3 years grooming and developing a bloke only to let him walk. I don't understand any of this

Nick wouldnt pay overs for a player -ever -I kn ow how he thinks and the warriors would of put a load of cash under the table as well.
                          Stiff chatter.
I say as soon as Latrell hit 18 put him in the top grade and shift RTS on the wing that is punishment enough as he will never get any ball from SKD

Who can blame the kid for securing his financial future? Will be missed for sure but what can you do. If I was an NRL player every decision would be about cash so I can't be critical of him.
