I dont feel "devasted".
Maybe Mini does.
Remember the culture we are trying to create in our club.
RTS goes with the money. so be it.
Paul Dunn and Ron Gibbes leaving was just as big a downer as this.
Maybe we should be positive, and be glad we weeded him out.
He could've served his future just as well financially by showing a bit of patience and loyalty.
Stuff him.If rl is so "professional" , there wouldn't be a friggin salary cap, and no Easts fan could be condemned for not crying over this kids disappointing descision,
Go Easts.

Fergo could well be a great fullback. But it'll be for about 12 games per season if we're lucky.
If Sione Mata'utia can play for Australia at 18 - as hilarious as that decision was - then Latrell Mitchell can play fullback for us next year as an 18 1/2 year old.

Another Jennings I hope not - I find all the romanticism of brothers playing at a club a bit much just because 1 gets graded on the back of a better brother is somewhat not fair - we are an eternal old boys club as it is with greats Mini Fitzy Ricko Freddy and Anasta. There is a pattern emerging here with ex players and on the surface it looks great but I just hope it doesn't back fire on us.

Hi friends,
It is a very tough decision to make for our coach Trent "Robbo" Robinson and I can understand very well the pros and cons of both dropping young Roger Tuivasa Sheck and retaining his services. I believe that he will see out his season with us unless his form deteriorates to unprecedented levels of unacceptability.
Perhaps if our season is not going as well as we would like there is a case to be made for giving an opportunity to a young player in the fullback position much the same as young Roger Tuivasa Sheck received in late season 2012 but until this happens we perhaps do not have the strength in depth to remove him from the first grade squad and have a responsibility to play our strongest lineup on all occasions.
