Like most, i'm absolutely shattered that RTS is leaving in 2016 ... however, life moves on and we have a premiership to win this year!
As a longtime Interstate Member, I can't wait for Friday night's game. It's sensational getting to see the boys live and we always get awesome support up in SE QLD. I'm driving a couple of hours tomoz arvo to go to the meet and greet and will return Friday for the game, can't wait!
The RTS news is both devastating and frustrating. Combined with the recent losses of Fergo and Guerra and coupled with an extremely poor showing against the Sharks ... this is definitely a yardstick game to show the comp how we're travelling and proving to all that the poor performance last week was just a minor glitch in our premiership push. It's always a big game against the Broncs, QLD based fans hate them just as much as Souths and it will be great to see us continue to dominate opposition at Suncorp Stadium.
In a week full of disappointment lets try and remember how good our squad still looks to most. I have faith in the club that there is a plan B, C and D to ensure we don't return to the dark old days of the late 2000s.
Go the mighty Roosters, hope to meet some of you tomorrow afternoon and Friday at the game if you're travelling up to see us run rampant and bury these Brisbane pricks!
