I call him as following in his father's footsteps if we can pick up a decent halfback.

Someone throw a shitload of money at Kieran Foran, he made Pearce look ordinary.
He's becoming like Johns, Barg_arse but with 1/4 of his talents though he did good to get away from Soward but that was straight running.

With Carney as his partner he was SOO standard last year as we all noticed, probably similar to how Craig wing excelled in that role next to Fittler last decade..
Thats the problem, Our forwards dominated, Our attack was farked, Rudderless yet you and other think he was the best half on the field, please.

Anasta is not a 5/8 yet he is pillared for his kicking game, Pearce was worse and you want to praise him.

Pearce was owned again by the dragoons half, just like the previous 7 times.

His loyal supporters blamed our forwards on those occasions, not being able to do that this week, it is Anastas fault.

When will it be Pearces fault ????????????????

You're right and thats the problem now. Watts and carney are the creative players, one got injured and eventually farked up his career, the other battling with an injury and back to his drinking routine.

Pearce isn't a creative player and never will be. As a halves combination carney and pearce are potentially the best, stats showed that last yr. Both played excellent of each other.

Pearce is down on form and confidence much like the rest of the backline tbh.

I agree that Pearce is not one to be able to carry the team on his own..

which is why i made that comparison with Wing next to fittler looking like the
          best half going around..

pearce just does not have the maturity/experience to run it alone imo..

But how is Anasta not a 5/8 ?? Did he not have the experience of number 6
          for about 10 years??

agree 100%. And it's about time some of supporters started seeing this too.

Do you think Wayne would let Mitchell start freebasing cocaine and injecting steroids into his dick? That's how we'll get a circa '97 Joey.

His attack is impotent, inserting something into his dick may just work wonders

Mitchell has had some bad coaching during his first few seasons in first grade and he was blooded in for his debut way too early. I'm still backing him to be the half-back he should be. He just needs to work on his short kicking game, i was shocked how many times he would go in the air, rather then slip a short grubber kick for a repeat set and put pressure for the defense rushing in.

Lets be honest he is only 21-22, this is still very young and raw, it does not help when you are given rep jumpers and everything else so early but that shows the poor options in the halves we have for NSW. He needs to not be picked for Origin and work on leading this club back into the 8 and i'm confident he can do so.

He played better then our Captain who looked like it was the first time he played Five-Eight.

                      .
That was part of the problem and would develop with maturity.
His passing game in the OPP 20 also needs working on. We've seen some of the cut out balls he's thrown to SKD 80metres out.. but what about in the opp 20? It's like he panics and his confidence is reduced tenfold

Agreed, i mean Brain Smith likes this chancing your arm type football, attacking freestyle flair but i think in the Opposition twenty we need some set-plays, decoy runners running angles for the flat ball running in to draw more defenders in, to create more space out wide for SKD. We looked easy to defend too, shift left to the edge, then there is nothing doing go the other way, then a run up the middle then kick on in the air on the last - No variety.

I think Brain has a lot to answer for and needs to direct Mitchell how to improve in this area of his game. Even to Dummy and change direction at the line. Switch it up.

You are right Pearceworstnightmare Anasta is not a 5/8, but he is also not in the top 3 or 4 back rowers at the club either. Which means he is a liability.

This is exactly right which means he is a cap-burlging, waste of space oxygen thief as I believe has previously been stated.

Is there any truth to the rumour that he is yet to sign his contract? If so we should fark him off immediately.
