The roosters are too professional for either. This barba rumour is bullshit. Just because a player is out of favour at one club and another has a vacancy does not make that player a target. The roosters would never ever chase barba. He hasn't played good football in years.

Some time ago in a thread I spoke of uncle Nick having private talks with the Plane called Hayne at SCG before he announced leaving the Eels to play NFL.
Should the Plane not make the top 53 at the 49'ers this year....
He may be landing at Bondi & not Parra 2016

Good call.
It punishes success, and creates "transit lounges" in all clubs.
Mind you, if news had it's way, none of us would support a club in particular.
We would just enjoy a close game as casual entertainment .[/QUOTE]
Yes sad but unfortunately very true - wait until the fickle fan gets bored with Rugby League as entertainment and turns to something else,

DON’T worry Roosters fans, you’ve lost RTS but you have rugby league’s next big thing waiting in the wings. Latrell Mitchell, a 17-year old sensation who’s starring for the Roosters Under 20s, is viewed as the long-term replacement for the departing Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
Rookie Sydney Rooster Latrell Mitchell
Quick, powerful and with a loping stride that’s reminiscent of Rabbitohs superstar Greg Inglis, Mitchell is viewed by those in the know as a once in a generation prospect.
It might seem hyperbole to compare a 17-year old to the best player in the world, but the comparison is unavoidable — Mitchell runs, passes and plays like an Inglis clone.
“It appears as though they’ve got a ready made replacement” said NRL 360 co-host Ben Ikin.
“You don’t let someone like Roger Tuivasa-Sheck go without knowing what’s coming.”
The Taree junior was man of the match in the Roosters SG Ball grand final win last season and scored 13 tries in seven games for the Australian Schoolboys on their tour of Europe.
Roosters recruitment manager Peter O’Sullivan told The Daily Telegraph’s Dean Ritchie that he was deeply disappointed by Tuivasa-Sheck’s decision to leave, but praised Mitchell’s potential
Warriors close in on Sydney Roosters star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
“Latrell is the best player in his age group coming through. He can play fullback, wing and centre, anywhere in the backline. He is a pure athlete.
“Latrell is as good as they get and we have a lot of hope for him in the future. Whether he is ready for round one next year is up to the coaching staff.”
Another possible long term replacement for Tuivasa-Sheck could be the Kiwi internationals’ younger brother Johnny, who scored a hat-trick for the Roosters Under 20s on the weekend in their 68-6 win over Cronulla

"A lot of clubs have been ringing up, I met with a club yesterday and just this morning as they go through their player roster.
"I've got to look at the client's needs and try to get him the best deal wherever it may be."
Umm, is that even legal? He comes off contract at the end of next year, not this year.
What next, clubs tapping up players who come off contract at the end of 2017?
They can all **** off because we won't lose Mitchell.
