Nearly half of that 300k actually 275k will go in tax so it is now maybe 275k x whatever the top Kiwi tax rate is which is about 155k after tax assuming at rate of 40%, unless his manager sets up dodgy tax structures for him.Originally posted by hackthefortress View Post

I honestly hope we don't try to entice him back by round 13. He has made his decision and if he stayes for more if we come up with a bigger counter offer and he accepts.Then we will pay for it in long run by tying up too much salary of our cap plus a few others would have their noses out of joint for taking unders. It could turn into another DCE type of situation.
