RTS will get lazy and complacent at Warriors. Also playing under a useless coach his game will stagnate. Great move for his bank account but not a good career move. No players go to Warriors and actually improve their game.

He was hopeless there but still improved.

          Like James Maloney right?

Anyway good luck with Omar, I still think he has something to offer and could turn out to be a great signing.

He was not a game breaker in the young Mini or RTS mould, he was a good supporting fullback who was the final receiver on the end of a lot of tries and I think we can all agree the defense in U20 is mediocre to say the least. . The Warriors have in recent years had a strong u20 and he was able to take advantage of that, granted he knows where to be at the right time and that in itself is an asset but when he got to first grade he was not a force with ball in hand. His ability to beat his man one on one is marginal and he struggles to create things. That said he is excellent defensive, he's a rock and a good supporting player who showed decent speed in the juniors but always seemed to be hurt when getting his chance in first grade. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt you have watched the kid play much, I dont think he offers much in attack, quoting stats of tries scored at u20 does not change my opinion when I full well knew he scored a lot of tries.
He's played 5 first grade games in his career. Out of position.

                Generalise much?

Will he be the first player from pakistan to play nrl? Maybe there are more out there like inzaman, good for the front row?

Interesting how they will get along with the many betting companies involved in the nrl.

From memory the Warriors were very keen to keep him but the lure of big money from Japanese rugby was too much.
