I have said this before and i will say it again in my opinion both our halves are as dumb as batshit. Gawd i wish we had a Thurston some one who can steer the side around and make intelligent calls rather depend on brain explosions to get by.

Same game plan as 2013 and I think they are stale with training techniques, game plan, frustration/ mental fatigue whilst being additionally head faaaarked by refs.

With bombs to the wingers being basically uncontested due to the refs not penalising players for running chasers off the ball, Toops becomes a bit of a liability. If he signs with Parra, I can see Mitchell taking his spot once he turns 18.

On another note, was I the only one who thought Friends service from dummy half was poor in the closing stages?

When Friend came on I could notice the difference, he was controlling the game. Towards the end he wasn't, I think that just comes down to his match fitness. He's still got a little bit to go before he is entirely 100%

That was hard to watch last night. It astounds me that we can have by far the best overall team yet be 3-3 to start the season. I know we continually get royally f****d by the refs every week, but it was some of the penalties we gave away last night that cost us. Most of those 9 penalties were our fault. And then there were the knock ons, from maloney in particular (as well as his lack of composure when kicking field goals.

I don't know whether it's the lack of the influence of SBW and Mini or what but we're really lacking efficiency, particularly to finish that game off. I think once Friend plays 80 minuntes he will probably be the man to do that but atm I'm not seeing it from Pearce and I'm definitely not seeing it from Maloney.

JWH is such a gun forward and has such amazing potential but he needs to just get the niggle out of his game. Just forget about. Somebody needs to go to him and just tell him, look, your job is to be our momentum gainer, put all your effort into every run, try and create some second phase play at the right moments, and tackle hard, but not stupid. He's not doing this at the moment and he and maloney's ill discipline cost us a lot last year and this year.

One last thing, somebody also needs to sit our halves down and tell them that there are other kicks that you can do rather than bomb. Sure it might pin them in their own 20 metres, but it is a real dud way to finish the set if you're doing it when you're anymore than 30 metres out.

The annoying thing (and the good thing I guess) is that if we fixed up our discipline, just got rid of the silly penalties like JWH holding the player back or Maloney with a hand on the ball on the last tackle, plus just had some extra composure and control of the ball, we would literally be unstoppable. Discipline is the only thing that is keeping us from being the best team in the comp because we have the best side in the comp by a decent margin.

JWH is so easily baited...The Bronos plans were to gain advantage on penaties and it worked they milked a few and faked a few...........I hate that kind of play and a lot of teams do it-Canterberry ,Melbourne -Brisbane- Manly - Souffs its about time we stop been honest Johns and dish the same shit back .

The effects of players contracts not been finalized is showing Toups, Maloney ,there heads arent in it

good to see PKR and her daughter at the game again and at the meet n greet, also a good chat with gigity gigity wayne, even brian canavan came down to say giday to wayne and a few of the crowd. I also got to meet stringaz. and some other guy who remembered me and the kids from last year.

I was at the game and thought Toups and Jennings were dreadful. Honestly don't know what's doing with them.
Thought skd was good tho.

JC, as SST develops and gets more game time I reckon he will be passing more after the line.

I could see Wayne down the front. I was directly behind him but back in row 17. So about 10 rows back I think. With my little girl.Said Gidday to Brian as well. I even dropped 300K in his pocket and said, FFS get that to RTS.

Oh, and he fumbled/knocked on from the dumb Toups pass in front of our posts in the first half...Broncos scored and subsequently won the match.
