South Sydney Rabbitohs' Glenn Stewart admits to taking a dive in NRL loss to North Queensland Cowboys

South Sydney back rower Glenn Stewart admits he took a dive to deny North Queensland a try during the Rabbitohs' 30-12 loss at the Olympic stadium on Monday evening.

Referee Adam Devcich referred the decision to the video referees who came back with a no-try verdict.
Cowboys captain Johnathan Thurston expressed his extreme frustration towards the referee over the decision.

Devcich said to Thurston both he and the video referees felt Stewart was unfairly obstructed by Lowe.
But on Tuesday at a Rabbitohs' recovery session, Stewart says he took a dive to draw the obstruction ruling, describing the move as "gamesmanship".

"To be honest I wasn't going to get there (to tackle Morgan) so I tried something and it came off," he said.
"Everyone wants to win. I wasn't going to get to the bloke so I had a crack and fortunately it went our way.

"In a game you do everything you can to win and I just had a crack."

That pink dude was hilarious. Although I didn't get the relevance, being pink! My 12 yr old daughters eyes were popping out 😀. I saw that security went over there a few times although I couldn't see that he was doing anything wrong. He was just down from us on the left. About 6 or 7 rows in front. Last yr we were on the end and up on the second tier. A lot better place to watch the game. But my daughter enjoyed it a lot more this year sitting with the crazy pen. She loved it. Although she was really pissed off at the loss. 12 yrs old and she took it worse than me 😀
