  • McIlwrick is not first grade standard

a discussion for after the match but seriously McIlwrick is a big part of our early match problems, his defense was absolutely disgraceful tonight, after only 17 minutes he was struggling to get back onside and was leaving gaping holes in the middle of our ruck, he needed to be hooked for Friend at the 19 minute mark.

obviously Friend resumes his starting duties next week so Robbo only needs to get 10-15 minutes out of a utility player either side of halftime to spell Friendy.

we would be better served shifting Maubs into hooker for 10 minutes and carrying another forward on the bench than using McIlwrick.

fingers crossed no more injuries and once Guerra returns Maubs can return to his utility role on the bench.

He lost me with that attempt on Inglis a few weeks back.

He is what is known as a burglar. Barring major injuries Mcillrick will never play first again.

He's not the only one based on some individuals performances tonight.

Matt is first grade standard in attack, he gives the halves pretty good ball.
          However, he can't tackle.

You can't expect much more when your paying around $80k a year for a back up rake.

His service is crisp and efficient however he offers nothing in the way of ball playing.

When Guerra's back, Aubbo will occupy the bench utility spot.

I want maubs to stay in the squad and guerra to push to 13. Maubs made a huge amount of one on one tackles after many others had dropped off their man.
              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

                That could work.

Who would you have on your bench?

                  SST
                  Liu
                  Evans
                  Napa

If jake needs a rest then move maubs to dummy half

SST is going to develop into something special.

I would love to see him run some different angles at times.

Clocked 144 metres in tonights game.

Right so not being able to tackle GI 1-on-1 onder high pressure means you're not 1st grade standard?

Relax guys! Jake's back anyway and TBH blaming Matt for tonight is a joke seeing as Jake played out most of the game (and did a good job IMO.)

Inglis was standing still. You could have tackled him. It was a pathetic attempt and led to a 100m try.
