  • I REST MY CASE ABOUT MALONSHIT FROM LAST WEEK

I don't think one or two regular season games make a player. but if his contract was in the balance, he's certainly done himself no favours

He did have a golden five minutes and if that field goal goes over all would probably be forgiven.

exactly. The ball goes further by 3cm and people would be screaming to resign him

I would have been happy just to seem him take the tackle on play 4 instead of snapping off a field goal attempt under immense pressure which in the end cost us the game. If he was 21 I could excuse that play but he should be better than that

Unfortunately his lack of composure cost us dearly, but I'm not calling for his head! (JUST YET)I dont know who could fill his boots next year.Surely we ain't going down the Carney track!

Unfortunately our long term replacement number 6 just signed with the Warriors. Nice one Easts.

I stand by the fact that carney is the most naturally gifted 5/8th i have seen since freddy. He has and amazing running game and kicking game. His spiralling bombs and chip kicks were actually an effective attacking weapon even when he was at the halfway line. I can't imagine what he would do if he had our outside backs like fergo and jenko running onto his passes.

Also had a good relationship with robbo in 2010. The 2010 gf hurt him and he would love the opportunity to seek redemption for that.

With proper guidance and guidlines, he could again be our purchase of the year.
                      Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

I am open to getting Toddy back but I worry how injury prone he is these days. Probably past his best now.
Signing Maloney or Toddy would be a big kick in the guts to SoH though.

True and arguably it shoulda been counted since Maranta touched it.

His other attempts were poor but IMO that has ALWAYS been a problem with our team. Never seen us nail a field goal to win a game I'm convinced we have nobody who can slot them consistently...

Where was Braith when we needed him.

Jimmy slotted a nice one against the Cows last year.

My biggest issue was the lack of composure and attempting the shot on the 4th when we had 7 on that set.

The ball then hits the crossbar , JWH regathers and attempts to off-load and loses the ball with 2 tackles still up our sleeve.

                            So frustrating!
