  • Latrell eligible to debut Round 15 June 22 V Dragons

Turns 18 16/06 according to Rooster site.
What happens if he debuts this year, not being part of the First Grade squad? Does this eat into the cap?

First time seeing him play last night I am thinking he may be somewhere near ready for first grade in 2017???

The kid is nowhere near first grade standard yet. I think he would also get eaten up in NSW cup. I reckon he is 2 years off bring a solid first grader.

I couldn't make it to the 20's last night I was a tad late. But a few years ago I made it to a Titans match when RT$ was playing. With all the talk about him then I thought he had a bad game that day and I wasn't super impressed. So you can never really judge on there game in the 20's. There is as much hype about Latrell as there was for RT$. Let's hope He can be as big of a gun as our number 1 this year.
Man I was driving that RTS bandwagon. Shit

Yeah and they got smashed so I'm guessing nobody really got a chance to look good?

I can name a bunch of players since POS has been on board who I've wondered 'WTF is the hype about?!?' after seeing in the lower grades only to eat my humble pie later on.

          IMO POS/robbo/nick/canavan know their shizzle.

Remember Jermaine Ale? Jeez, how good was he in the juniors? Same with Soliola.

Axe I watched him last night and whilst you always need to remember he is only 17, he is nowhere near ready. He defends like you would expect a boy too. He needs at least another year and he definitely needs to play with Wyong before he is even considered for FG.

Thanks JC. Just putting it out there. I know you were at the match last night and I wasn't but I try to get to matches early and watch talent coming through. This kid has talent and is only weeks away from 18.
I was not overly impressed with either of our wingers last night and with RTS going next year, perhaps we need to start testing him. Dragons may be a good start.
                Personally, my philosophy is TIT.

He is definitely a huge talent. But most of it is when he has the ball. Not without.
Yep our wingers and Jenning were terrible. You miss a lot at the game but one thing you don't miss is how hard a guy hits the ball up. I honestly could not believe how soft Daniel Tupou runs the ball. He slows at the line and gets pushed back 5 yards every time. Last night was the worst I have seen and I think he is on the way out. Jennings got killed by his opposite. The red haired kid. Jack.
I actually thought SKD had a red hot go but people on here are telling me he missed tackles. I thought he came in a couple of times and shut down plays.
