I was referring to the actual listing this weekend, there is a better variety of creativity, consistency, speed and power over Firsts tbh. Kheirallah can create things from nothing, (Mini can't anymore) Linnett is a consistently rock solid centre (whilst Graham and SKD are rollercoasters) Naughton and Pritchard have nice footwork and speed and can actually beat a man with it (unlike BJ and Carney who prefer to attempt to just run over people) and Vaiotu is a massive second row/centre hybrid who can bring the power game.

It's a better balanced backline, Brian could learn something.

BJ would absolutely kill it at Newtown...So what...

Graham was killing it after coming back at Newtown...

Mini would be unstoppable for Newtown....So what..??

Just imagine what Pearce would do at Newtown..

        You've missed the point.

That backline actually has balance and is well put together, First Grade's is not.

My point is that if you put the Newtown backline up against Gasnier, Cooper, Nightingale, Morris and Boyd they would not look balanced with power and speed, creativity and consistency..

          They would get flogged...

On another note, it is interesting that the players in the "senior group" (Mini, Anasta, Ryles and probably Riddell), are the players we need to get rid of the most!

They would have wanted Carney stood down indefinitely (which I agree with).

I've heard Uncle Nick wanted him back in the team immediately, as losing is "bad for business".

When Noyce spoke about the senior player group, he said Mini, Anasta, Perret, Ryles and Myles.

Three of those five need to get the axe.

Does he have the required passing game to make it?

Didn't look that impressive in the Foundation Cup.

I just wanted Melon to throw something To answer your question I don't think too highly of him. He showed he clearly is not a half.. He needs space to move and is dangerous in broken field. He was a winger in NYC so I think he only played in the halves as he is too small for the outside backs.. The guy has one thing and that is pace so I would give him an extended run at Fullback for Newtown to see if he can make a decent fist of the position. If not then I can't see any future for him. I wouldn't rush him though, look how patient the Dogs were with Barber and Kheralliah is no where near as good as him at the same stage.

If he was 22 and at the same level of physical fitness, would you have him over Pearce?
Whats Horrie got to do with you trying to belittle the achievements of Mini? Are you now trying to say that Mullins was better than Mini but just didn't get the accolades?
