We kicked it on the 4th tackle I'm pretty sure so when Jared regathered we would have had one more tackle to set up. In saying that if Maranta touched it then it should've been six again anyway.

They didn't show a replay of it but after watching it again (from the same angle obviously which was a shit one) when Maloney's attempts his last field goal in extra time (the shocker) I swear he is taken around the head by the second player that comes at him. He actually motions to the ref that he was collected high but they disregard it. If he stays down from that and they look at it on the video the refs would've had no choice but to award us a penalty in front of the sticks. If they thought a few Dogs fans throwing bottles was bad I'd hate to think what a stadium full of angry Queenslanders would have produced. Possibly why it was totally disregarded.
For the record I am proud of the spirit in which we play the game. We do not lay down, we do not intimidate officials, we do not whinge about decisions. Sure it may cost us the odd result but I would much prefer our club keep its dignity. If one of our players pulled a stunt like Glenn Stewart on the weekend Robbo would not tolerate it one bit because he is a man that believes in the betterment of the game above all else.

I think Pearce is batting at just over 15%. That's positively Finch-like.

Pearce has kicked one field goal in his career against the Gold Coast about 6 years ago. We still lost the match. He would be lucky to be at 5%.
