What are you talking about, the bloke is turning 28 and is at the end of his career. While he is a fair player I would rather spend the money on youth. We have both Jenning and SKD who are both of the older vintage, I think we should be bringing through some of our youth especially outside backs , giving us longevity in to the future.

We have young outside backs, SKD is experience and he's still a fine player.

As he is popular amongst the other players, his extended stay at Easts is more for team harmony than talent. Also, unlike FPN, Skids always gives 100%, whether it's rocks or diamonds. Word is that he stayed for less money than elsewhere. He never wanted to leave. Is his dad still coaching our juniors?

Happy with this signing. I've been very frustrated with him in the past and would have been alright with him leaving at times, but of the 3 off contracts (Maloney, SKD and Tupou), I believe SKD was the priority. He always gives 100% and is solid in defence. The only thing that frustrates me is his tendency to turn a quick play the ball into a loss of momentum when he runs straight into the marker but I've found that generally he steps up in the big games and his moments of horrible stupidness are usually in less intense games. Considering the possible mass changes to our backline if we lose RTS, Maloney and Tupou, I think this was a key reseigning and gives us a lot more flexibility in regards to the fullback, centre and wing positions.

Like when he scored the match winning try during the 2013 GF?Which match winning try?
I will give him credit for playing with a broken jaw and he will be part of history at our famous club.
But his continuous fumbling attempts with ball in hand will always be part of his game and an issue we as supporters need to keep watching for at least 2 more years.
His dropped ball over the line against the Rabbits cost us dearly a few weeks ago.
Only a couple of weeks ago he dropped a simple ball coming out of our own line against the Sharks at a crucial time
The kid is heart attack material..
