I don't know dolphin, i mean he is at a point in his life where he has had to really make some changes and some tough desicions.

He has realised that his footy will not get him out of social problems, if anything he has learnt that it can bring on more (see the article on him being attacked in atherton)

the key will be how the club that signs him treats him. His contract will be strict, no doubt about it, and he will know that in sydney his actions will be amplified by the media and the public.

If the boy can keep his head, and the club can truely help him then we may have a polished diamond out of the coal that he is now !

If the Roosters can help Todd find his way in life then good on the club. From what I have read Todd is trying hard to turn his life around after the last couple of incident filled years. From what has been reported Todd hardly ever leaves the pub he is working and only to play football. Being sacked from the Raiders, losing your father and being kicked out of your own home town would have been such a big wake up call for him.
I just have a very good feeling about Carney. I think he has learned from his mistakes and is ready to move forward in life. Welcome Todd

I hear that the Roosters are after a young sea egulls forward by the name of Jared Warea-Hargreaves who has big wraps on him over there.

I dont think David Williams is coming since roosters will sign Minichiello ( pay cut ) but where does that leave Sisa Waqa they had such big wraps on him as a player.

Warea-Hargreaves is a powerful, mobile NZ frontrower with a tonne of aggression. This year he is averaging 14 runs for 116 metres, including 3 linebreaks, 2 tries, 4 linebreak assists and 2 try assists. Good stats.

However, he has been far and away outshined this season by Siosia Vave (Titans), Shaun Spring (Titans), Tinirau Arona (Panthers), Sam McKendry (Panthers), Jesse Bromwich (Storm) and Ronnie Alovali (NQLD). Trent Merrin and Jonathon Mannah are also standout frontrowers. There are a fair few to pick from in the U20's, we just have to find the right ones.

Actually, looking at the more outstanding frontrowers of the 2008 NYC season, a fair few of them are now near regular firstgraders. Aiden Tolman (Storm), John Kite (Bulldogs), Russell Packer (Warriors), Eddy Pettybourne (Rabbitohs), Tim Mannah (Eels), James Tamou (was with Roosters, now NQLD) have all become regular first-graders. Blokes like Leeson Ah Mau, and the aforementioned props, are all in their 2nd year of NYC.
