You know how sick to death I am of toovey bitching about the referees when his club gets pumped? That's why we haven't been doing it. It wouldn't change a thing.

I speak to a lot of friends who don't support Easts, and the general consensus is we bring it on ourselves, fair enough, but if you press a bit further and ask what game in particular or ask for an example
they cant tell you, the media/ commentators get the ball rolling on this stuff. But for the life of me I can't see us doing anything more wrong than any other team.
I've been watching footy for over 30yrs and I'm actually starting to dread watching Easts now.

Did anyone else who was watching on Fox hear ref Klein WARN cam smith about tohu harris not flopping in on a tackle late (as both smith and harris did a few times last night) without penalties being given to the Roosters? I was gobsmacked. Also have to say that hearing cam smith remind ref klein about "not having a repeat of last year" wasn't right though it worked a treat for the drizzle as they didn't concede any or many penalties after that little reminder. FMD.

Naturally I didn't hear any warnings issued to the Roosters about not magically forcing the ball loose from the grasp of a drizzle player after the Roosters player had cleared the ruck (SKD and MAubs).

The worst part was Klein penalised Harris at the start of the game for a blatant grab of the ball on the ground, he then for the rest of the night warned him not to infringe after multiple blatant flops and grabbing of the ball on the ground......it was comical and very very costly in those conditions, we deserved at least another 3-4 penalties from Harris and Smith for blatant infringements, we win comfortably with these calls.
