So the story is out now
My prediction, 2 weeks of fair and in-biased officiating then back to the norm. This happens every time there is a "crackdown" on one the rules.
It won't change until the tip sheets or 'around the grounds' are scrapped from there preparation. If your going into a match with pre-conceived ideas or thought on players then that's the main focus. I stand by my belief that if we were to improve our own discipline the. the pre match focus would not be focused on us as much

Freddie actually metioned the Roosters/penalty thing on the Sunday Footy show ...he was ridiculed by Sterlo and Johns.
As mentioned already, becasue we are not a liked team, it will be hard to get any smypathy from other followers and the League public in general, but at least it is now being put out there !
..Imagine the piublic outcry if it were the Vermin on the receiving end of these stats ?

Roosters officials are fuming about how they are being treated by referees this season – and are set to take their grievances to League HQ.
Remarkably, in three of their seven games this season, the Roosters haven’t received a second half penalty.
That was the case on Saturday night, when the Storm played a ‘perfect’ second half to edge the Roosters out in a thriller.
The Roosters have been awarded just nine second half penalties in seven rounds – just over one a game.
In contrast, their opposition has received a whopping 24 second half penalties.
It’s got Roosters coach Trent Robinson worried and he needs to sort it out with the men with the whistles – and quickly.

I would have preferred even more historical context. Hopefully that will follow soon.

The general consensus among the NRL community is we were coached to give away penalties whilst defending our goal line lol. Which ever dickhead came up with this theory should be flogged because refs think it's ok to smash us with penalties and feel good about it.

Buzz has his cash on us to win the comp this year, he also has massive issues with "League Central" due to their poor treatment of the Sharks on multiple issues, it's nothing to do with Nick.

I believe this came from Ray Warren and various other fools on channel 9, when that happens all the usual idiot fans believe what 9 says. Just like the hard on they have for JT being the ultimate competitor in the galaxy. Not just a couple a weeks ago he was getting bagged and Inglis was getting the praise.

I'm going to get a Roosters' jersey with that number on the back.

That number is 15 raised to the power of 15 - that is, 1 chance in 15 multiplied by 1 chance in 15 multiplied by 1 chance in 15 etc. Sounds right to me.

My prediction: two or three penalties given to the Roosters in the second half, probably on the second tackle, two metres in from the sideline and two metres out from our own line.
