Great that it is out but I think there are more compelling stats particularly comparing us to some of the other teams (particularly Souths).
Do a comparison on teams that finished 1st and 2nd over the last couple of years and see how big the discrepancy is.
That will show how much of a facre last year was.

Think about it, there are 15 other teams in the competition each with 15 possible outcomes with regards to which team they would concede the least penalties to. Not sure where you get 14. BTW I work the 'slow' sign on a road gang. They once gave me the 'stop/go' sign but that didn't end well.

They don't all concede their least number of penalties vs the Roosters. They simply concede less vs the Roosters than their overall average.

Avg. vs NRL --------------- Avg. vs Roosters

And given that their avg. vs the Roosters could, by and large, be one of two possibilities - more or less - it's effectively a 1 in 2 chance.

But for all 15 teams to be less means that it's 2^15.

Which is 32'768 - still quite outlandish.

That's our biggest problem, getting the message across that it's about the penalties not received. It's so frustrating. From what I've heard Hughes, Tunks and Robbo haven't got a clue either.

Hughes and co. haven't even read the article. If they had, they would have realised that the article admits the Roosters have a discipline issue and does not focus on the penalties conceded

NRL is one big joke.
Now what's going on has been exposed by the media.

It's these revelations [nothing new to Roosters fans, and some others] that lead people to accuse, rightly or wrongly, the NRL and its officials of being 'corrupt'.

My prediction: two or three penalties given to the Roosters in the second half, probably on the second tackle, two metres in from the sideline and two metres out from our own line.

I sent a msg in via their FB page ... some regular callers on this program are given way too much air time as they have no friggin clue about any issue in league .... I stated the issue is not penalties we concede but they miniscule amount we receive. Some people actually need to read an article and not just a headline!
