Rothfield's Article on Penalties and the Petition - - letter to the NRL

Dear David and Tony,
You will be aware that Phil Rothfield wrote an article in Monday's Daily Telegraph entitled “Unfair penalty counts ruining Sydney Roosters’ NRL hopes”. The article is located here.

As a Roosters supporter I believe that this article provides irrefutable evidence of what Roosters fans have believed for years - that the Roosters are unfairly targeted in the awarding of penalties in favour of our team.
Following Mr Rothfield's article I launched a petition on this issue requesting that the NRL conduct an investigation into Mr Rothfield's claims. The petition has attracted nearly 1,200 signatures. I am sure you will agree that this is a substantial response. The article can be found here :

Can you please advise your response to this situation. As a Roosters fan, my enjoyment of watching my team has nose-dived knowing that we will not, in my opinion, be given fair treatment. I am not suggesting any form of corruption or cheating of course.

Great stuff Andrew, keep fighting the good fight mate!! The only thing I will disagree with you on is that there is without a doubt corruption and cheating going on, but I can fully understand you saying that in your letter, as they would not acknowledge you otherwise. Even still, they most likely will not acknowledge you anyway, as they are corrupt cheating f**kwits!! The fact that this bull$hit has been going on against us for so so many f**king years, just only proves that there is corruption and cheating going on against us, there is no other possible explanation for all the bull$hit that constantly goes on against us for so f**king long!!

Btw, that is an excellent point you have raised about the enjoyment of watching our team and footy in general, has nose dived as a result of the biased refereeing of games, along with the bias by the match review committee and judiciary!!
