We tried that...with RTS...didn't work out...big waste of time and effort.
First chance he got he went elsewhere...best to just buy established stars and other clubs' star juniors.

The existing players he's signed have been our top stars from 2013 etc.
...and...maybe he's not the sole one doing all the signing.

Losing those 2 it's fair to say with the past 3 games being close it could have easily been 3 wins.

      A REALITY CHECK PLEASE !!

our roster has copped a blow not to mention the unavailability of those 2 idiots Kennedy & Meehan

You wanna winge? Go crap on those 2 for a start & run some errands for Guerra &
      Fergo after that

Have a go at the coach if he's losing while having the full roster at hand.
Darky I am with you on this , we have only gone down by 2 points since Guerra has been out maybe we miss his defense more than we give him credit for , watch him closely - his communication , his one on one and his anticipation in cover . He takes a fair bit of heat off the halves and plugs the middle.
Fergo is touted as the next big hope , but he needs to be on the field.
Maubs has proven his versatility in attack and defense.

Unfortunately we are down on numbers , our depth is tested and we are not stepping up .

I find the title of this thread disrespectful. I'd be appalled if TR were to read this. We have not turned up in 2 games this year: Sharks and yesterday was sub standard but the effort was there.

We are losing close games by 4 or less. To suggest our Premiership winning coach is a one season wonder is insulting and IMHO shows ignorance. He has won us 2 minor premierships and a WC FFS. We have been reamed in penalties this year, had injuries and BS suspensions yet we are only just losing.

Yes, Robbo does not have JT, Paul Green, nor SMW and they are losses but the World moves on. Guys, I'm saddened when I read such threads and I acknowledge everyone is entitled to their views but does this mean we vent such anger and illogical thoughts when we lose?

This is going to be such a good thread to bump at the end of the season.

Even in a few years time.

Maloney's field goal attempt against Brisbane goes an extra 5cm - we win.

Storm don't get a welfare penalty to get them out of trouble - we win.

Jennings holds the pass from Maloney against the Merge - we win.

I say that if Robinson can address such issues, he can stay.

we signed a very average assistant coach. mc namara's record says it all. i also think mini being still in the spotlight maybe unsettling for the team.sure he is a great and admire him immensely but nick seems to be handing out jobs to the old boys network. not for or against yet if it continues then having fitter as our attacking coach seems a better option than mc namara. he just follows trent with the 2013 game plan.appears a yes man to me and offers nothing.

Is it BCs fault? POS, Politis fault? Is it fitzys fault? The players go out ther to do what they're told so unless they're not doing that then Trent has lost the team... I don't think it's that but it's just that his ways don't work without a star/marquee player. Even though Sonny didn't have a good 2014 with the ball, his off the ball play was also a great asset.
It can't always be roses mate. We won a GF. We were very competitive last year. And this year everybody is beating everybody. The last 3 weeks we have been beaten by 2 field goals and 2 points.

I think you are over reacting.

Is Michael McGuire a 1-year wonder?

His team is a James Graham charge down gone wrong away from 5 losses in a row.

I don't understand why TR is untouchachable when it comes to blaming for what's happening out there. The same crap goes on week after week yet we only blame the players. They say that TR goes off in the sheds when things aren't going right. Perhaps he does it in the showers where there aren't any cameras because all I see is just someone with as much energy as a snail. I have seen what Bellamy is like and he wouldn't be copping this and though Bennett might also have the same demeanour as Robinson, Trent is no Bennett yet. Stuart got us to 3 GF with one win, one premiership and one MP yet he gets bagged like there's no tomorrow so I can't understand why many make excuses for Robinson. Robinson is very much responsible for the selection and tactics of our team. I have never been of this opinion that 'in Trent we trust' BS. Time for Trent to step up or be told he's time is ticking. Hahahaha... Just heard Manly beat the Storm... We're heading South and they'll probably be heading north.
Ricky got us to 3 straight, trent wont even get close to that, actually no coach will, ricky gets treated harsher than any of our other coaches should.

This, and I would add the uncertainty of players coming of contract as well especially Toups and Maloney.

Well I mainly go back at how people were critical of Stuart. I will say that I never was one of them cause he was the first coach who won us a GF since 75 and that so sweet, so I respect him for that and the other 2 GFs he got us through. Had it not been for Skinny being overrun by a slow forward, we would have had another one, yet he has copped a lot here and the Roosters forum because people were saying that we won because of Fittler and his assistants...blah blah blah... We are seeing this again but nobody says a word against Robbo, well many don't say a word. Robbo lost Green and Taylor as well as two major players and now were 3 and 5... I like Robbo as a person but he's not showing much. He is as responsible for us losing as for us winning. R6 just wrote "This is going to be such a good thread to bump at the end of the season" so I'm guessing that if we go and win the GF, then he'll bring it up to shut us up...fine bring it and I hope we win. The irony here is that why is that if we win, then it's Robbos tactics BUT not if we lose, how come? Is he trying to give other teams a false sense of security and after SOO we'll start smashing everybody else... Bring on the SOO

I feel, that the buck stops with the coach. He is experienced enough to know what he has to do.

I can't believe how quick some fans can turn on a coach.

                              It's only round 8 FFS!

We have key players out . Then there is the referee bias.

Some people are going to look very silly by the seasons end.
