it seems that the old problem of not being able to connect via home WI-F has returned

Hi ROC,

Please do me a favor and do a couple things for me.
1. Please post a screen shot of the error, or the exact text returned by the browser.

2. Ping the Chookpen and post the results.
From a PC/device connected to your home WiFi, try running a ping to the Chookpen. To do this on a PC, open up a command line/terminal shell run the following command.

ping www.thechookpen.com.au

When I run this i receive;

Pinging thechookpen.com.au [27.50.82.125] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 27.50.82.125: bytes=32 time=57ms TTL=50
Reply from 27.50.82.125: bytes=32 time=58ms TTL=50
Reply from 27.50.82.125: bytes=32 time=51ms TTL=50
Reply from 27.50.82.125: bytes=32 time=55ms TTL=50

and so on, can you post the results?

Well thank you for your reply Flipper. I use 3 devices that being iMac, IPhone and android tablet and while I use WI FI I can't connect so my only connection is via iPhone on 3G. I'll give it a go if you think later when I get home.

Note: In my previous post I posted using results from an incorrect ping test. Been amended in my post (but has been quoted by ROC).

Since iPhone works on 3G and doesn't on WiFi - lets focus on that. Please run the following while on 3G and once again on WiFi.

1. On the iPhone, install iNetTools - Network Diagnose Tools (from Comic Soft - its free).Select

   Ping

2. Enter

   www.thechookpen.com.au

3. Then select

   Start

4. Stop the ping after a few results are returned and post the results.

   Stop

5. Take a screenshot using the usual Apple method (Home button and Power button at the same time) or email the results to yourself and post from there.
