  • Opposition completions last 4 rounds

    Sharks - 36/42
    Broncos - 36/43
    Storm - 34/39
    Dragons - 36/40

I don't know how completions are recorded, but I would say their error rates while in possession have all been lower than these stats suggest. Even if the above are true, it shows just how on top of their game the current top 3 on the ladder have had to be to 'just' beat us over the past 3 weeks.

Imagine if our guys had some composure and discipline... they'd be near unbeatable!

Maybe it says something bad about the defence pressure we are (not) mounting.

        Good point ! JT .

Most of our tacklers first point of contact is upper torso whereas the opposition seem to be putting shoulder to ball area as first contact .

I don't think so. We are still premiership favourites according to the bookies and many experts. I still think teams consider us the benchmark and we are really, look at our team. Teams still get geed up to play us even though we're not the premiers

              Here you go:

              vs Sharks - 26/34
              vs Broncos - 28/38
              vs Melbourne - 29/35
              vs Dragons - 24/33

I would say the only decent handling display was against Melbourne in wet conditions. Far fewer sets than our opposition.

Clearly, we are giving the opposition more possession with the ball due us conceiting penalties & turning the ball over. We fix these two key infringement areas and we're back on course.
