I'm proud that we are the only club in the comp that doesn't dive.

I think the video ref will be out of it soon enough so this disgrace can be removed from our game.

Not sure if that young saints player was a full on dive. The penalty was given by the on field ref before the video ref. And just from memory, i think napa shoulder hit him accidently first, but then copped it from his swinging arm.

I'd love to see an open forum/chat on this topic.
I'd have Paul Harragon, Mark Carroll, Ian Roberts, Milford, Aitken and Ennis as the panelists.
We may as well be watching the fricken suca.

What I'd like to see Robbo do is announce tell the players to go out in one game and put on the most elaborately obvious dives known to man whenever they get hit high. Like full on rolling around on the ground soccer style stuff, then once the penalty is awarded jump up and and high five the whole team. Pearce and Maloney could even do a few backwards rolls and tumbles when they get collected by people trying to tackle them after the kick. Do it every single set if we can.

Then Robbo can just go to the press conference and say "That is where the game is heading", and walk out.

LOL you know what mate as crazy as that image is in my mind I reckon it would work and make the NRL act.

When I first saw this thread I thought Johnny Bravo was back.

            You know it makes sense.

I did like what Cleary's approach was that unless the NRL does something about it, then he wont have an issue with the diving.
I detest Clearys wimpy "not my problem" approach ..thought he was better than that.

The coaches collectively can stop the rot or perpetuate it

I would sacrifice this season and the next if it meant getting this shit out of our game.

Stand you're farking ground Robbo, stand it!

This maybe what it takes to expose the rort.

The riff stay down for penalties. I was at that game last year in finals game one and it consisted mostly of Soward being a bitch and moaning to the reff. That reversed decision at the start cost us badly.
                            Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

The riff, cleary and soward can go eff themselves. As others have said, I thought cleary was better than his glib, self-centered and self-serving stance on diving. And while I'm here, that turd from the dragqueens who took the dive should be ashamed of himself for behaving the way he did on that day.

Why do coaches like Cleary, because they are paid for results. The income of most clubs is based on results.
This diving crap is a direct result of $s ruling the game along with the wrong people having real control of our game, inc journalists, Ch9 and particularly the incompetents currently running the NRL.

From hearing Robinson speak in a number of situations, I think his absolute love of RL is one of his biggest assets, I hope it doesn't become his biggest downfalls.

Win lose or draw, I prefer that its done with some honour.
