I'm pretty pumped for tonight. First game in ages I've looked forward to.

Pearce will be full of confidence, and all our Kiwis will be rested, so we'd better show up.

I see no reason we can't stick it to the Storm... just as long as it doesn't descent into a penalty quagmire like nearly every other game of NRL.

Our last game agains the storm we got absolutely raped by the refs in the 2nd half. The storm were given free reign to do whatever they pleased in the ruck and policing their own 10m on a gentlemens agreement.

I expect a similar display by the referees again tonight, although no Slater should mean a victory regardless. Slater is the storm's key man. Smith is much less important to them than Billy

As usual, the problem is more the replacement than the player you lose. I recall one of those two played in Melbourne was was badly out of position for one of their tries.

Smith is definitely the main man for the Storm, then Cronk, the Slater. Their win percentage without Smith is diabolical, we all saw the 08 GF right?

Given Smith is rarely if ever injured though, most of his missed games are at origin where the storm have been without multiple stars.

Check out how bad they've gone in recent years when Slater has been missing.
