I was down at Albury last week and ran into BJ down the street. He was in Intencity and was pretty much just wasting some time so I went over and had a quick chat. He said the issue lies with the new assistant coaches. They have changed the teams structure in attack and defence and the team is struggling to come to grips with it. They would prefer to revert to last years structure but the coaching staff are standing firm, hence the players aren't overly happy and of course have very little confidence in what they're trying to do. He was glowing in his praise of Smith and former assistant Trent Robinson, not so happy with Brandon Costin.
Whether you agree with him or not, thats what he told me and could explain why we're playing so poorly.
Definitely agree with that....watched the Broncos game from last year the other day - the changes in both attack and D are so apparent. We are so much slower in both departments this year.
This sounds alot like the post J.Cartwright era to me...
