I'll be really interested to see if Smithy axes the dead weights and where we go frm there. The message needs to be loud & clear, names, reps dont mean anything, your place in the 17 depends on your performance. On that basis, eveybody knows where they stand. But Smithy needs to be running the team without any interference.

I don't see us finishing anywhere near the bottom of the table.
We have the slowest, least potent backline in the comp.
We have little or no creativity in the forwards
If our forwards aim up, we can hang in during games, as the last 2 weeks have shown
But that's all
Our attack is a farce
We are way too reliant on Carney
William Zillman has made more breaks at the Titans in 2 weeks than Anasta has in 5 years
Over 10m - 20m, Pearce is the slowest 1/2 in the comp
We're a genuine chance of running last

The problem with sacking coaches is that you are continually getting someone to coach players that the previous coach signed. Different styles require different players.
The last person in charge long enough to build the team he wanted was Phil Gould.
Smith knew the club he was taking on was a basket case when he took over. I suspect that was why he wanted 4 years. So he had enough time to take the team in the direction he wanted.
We over acheived massively last year and a lot of the credit has to go to Smith.
Its frustrating watching at the moment, but regardless of opinions, one thing is sure - Smith knows more about the game and the team than anyone on this forum.
The club has put its faith in Smith for 4 years - now they have to give him the reigns for those 4 years and let him control the destiny of the club in that time.

In regards your last one however, Politis is utterly incapable of getting the fark out the way and allowing those he employs to do their jobs, as he has demonstrated over so many years
He is a cancer that must be cut out

But Given that the football club is run as a closed shop with only yes men spiv mates of Politis allowed, it will be tough, if not impossible
Someone on the wall 2 or 3 years back physically tried to become a voting member of the football club, and the run around they were given was incredible
I might make some enquiries

The majority of the board are all highly regarded businesses men who have achieved far more than you, I or anyone on this forum will most likely ever achieve.
