Whilst I hate the carrrnnts as much suffs,you have to give them credit for their season so far.They remind me of Cronulla on the peptides,if a horse or a dog performed like the merge have with no previous form ,the racing officials would be taking swabs and holding an inquiry.

It's not a fluke IMO. They have a very well coached and executed defensive structure - that alone will win many games. Josh Dugan is the best fullback in the comp, no disrespect intended to RTS. He has explosive speed, power, toughness and vision. He's putting all that previously wasted obsession and energy into positive effect.

I don't think they'll be premiers but I could be wrong. I think they are overs at $11.00.

They are doing okay. No doubt they have improved their roster significantly. They have a pretty impressive spine too. But I don't think they will be anything to worry about at the business end of the season. I think they will make the 8 after a late season fade out and meekly exit the competition which would be a successful season after the past few years.

I also agree that Dugan is excellent. He would make a nice replacement for RTS.

You are a Wainker Ray ....but I do kinda agree.

I am in heaven with their form at the moment but expect to get a rude awakening from the dream later in the season. Anyway onwards and upwards over the next few years with some finals appearences in the next few years is a pass for mine. Still expect the Roosters to win the comp this year...predicted last week and would love for the Dragons to make the GF but I have reassessed. We will get to the second week of the finals for mine.

its good to see that merge can get to the top without any real noticeable help from the ref like the 2010 fiasco.( I wonder if finch is still the captain of the merge club or if archer will take over this year)

I believe we were ahead 4-1 at one stage. So they ended up getting 10-2.
