Maubs is better off the bench, as a forward, when the sting has gone out of the opposition.
IMO that's how Jack Gibson would've used him.
The master coach used to start the game with every big boppa he had, Bob O'Reilly ilk...to wear out the opposition's defence...then in the second half put on his fast-running/fast swerving/elusive forwards.
